I know some of you use your mobile phone to navigate with.

Ive just been going through some threads on Adventur rider

a couple af front end apps were mentioned, so i downloaded them to have a play

firsrt is an app called Drive mode, its more of a front end similar to Android auto , it runs mapping & music . costs £4,99

not bad, i cant test all functions as i dont havea sim in my tablet

the other is blinkdash.

I like the look of blinkdash, to a point but it gives a nice lite map function in the lower portion of a landscape screen

It 's 10 days free trial then you have to purchase it i cant see a price so will do some diging

Sounds interesting, look forward to your comments.
I've been experimenting with a spare water proof android phone as my main nav/speed camera/route recording device and looking for a better control solution as gloved hand is a bit hit and miss.
I've seen a nice Bluetooth handlebar remote but it's 200euro https://www.thorkracing.com/en/produto/carpe-controller/
Now need to find a cheap Chinese version that's in my skinflint price range.

Thanks, had a very quick look. Seems it's aimed at bikes with jog wheel, but will understand more once I have time to read it translated.
