2002 R1150GS for sale in NI

I understand that if a vehicle is registered in NI prior to 31/12/2020, only VRT is payable on import to the Republic . If I am wrong someone here will correct. In any event there is a gentleman getting rid of his bike collection near Lisburn NI and he has sent me photos of what looks to be a very nice 2002 Mandarin/Yellow ABS model 1150 with 60ish k miles on the clocks with engine bars , Remus, power commander etc., system panniers, new trekker outback top box. I understand he is looking for £2,750. I will try and post the photos he sent me.

Well I had a look at it today. Seems a tidy bike in great condition for a 19yr old. Owner David, a pleasant chap, imported it from the UK and stored for the last 4/5 years, last MOT expired 2016
Not quite sure why but I decided against it so it’s still for sale.

He also has a nice red K75S left, everything else has been sold.

My search continues........
 
Yip my 2002 bike has the dark fork legs no abs on mine though.
 
Wouldn’t know enough to comment but I thought the setup looked the same or similar as a 2000 model that I had?:nenau
