Newbie and help question?

Hi all/anyone, fitting front and back camera to my 1200gsa lc initially directly to battery thinking that it had a on/off swich box in the camera system! It seems not as battery was flat in 2 days! So was thinking of fitting a 5 way switched fused power outlet, as i can't afford the hexcan.
Q. Will fitting it this way cause the bike computer to have a fit and stop working if connected to say the rear light cable? Thanks

What year is the bike ?

On the LC models (and probably earlier too) there is a spare connector inside the front beak which is turned on and off automatically by the canbus

I think the DIN socket next to the clocks is too
