1000 miles on a 701 Enduro

one of the guys who's a talented rider was on this beaut......although by Sunday teatime it was a bit bent, it's no 525 that's for sure but coped brilliantly :beerjug:

The expressions....

“a talented rider on a beautiful bike that coped brilliantly” and
“By Sunday teatime it was a bit bent”

...appear to be slightly at odds with each other Tim :D

I was guiding a group in mid Wales all weekend on some VERY tough routes, one of the guys who's a talented rider was on this beaut.................

I love the look of bikes like that but I'd be so scared of taking one off road as I'd just trash it within minutes..............

Andres

No, it stays off until you kill the ignition, then it re-sets and would need turning off again on start up.

There are two 'maps'

1. Full lean sensitive ABS & TC on both wheels (for road use)

2. ABS on front. No ABS on back and less intrusive TC allowing for some rear wheel slip (for off road use)

You can also, independently, turn off all ABS and turn off all TC.

All of the above has it's own dedicated button (ie no 'menu' to scroll through as with big bikes) so very easy to set on the fly or when starting up.

Andres

Excellent, thanks for the info Andres

I think some of the 'special' trails up here came as a bit of a surprise to the Essex boys :D

Especially to the owner of a 'full on' Rally Raid BMW 310GS thingy but took a big fall, first the gear lever seen here after we'd already bent it 90deg from it's very sorry 180 deg

Then, spot the brake lever. He didn't ride on the Sunday as he was too broken :D

Started off like this.....but not for long :green gri

Note to self - fit lever savers to the rear brake and gear shift of my 'Full on RR G310GS' before going on a ride with Timolgra :D

Note to self

Let Tim go first.......................follow his line:D (to the mm)

Ha ha Ange used to believe that until she cracked her ribs. I don't always take the easiest line for practice... as she now knows :D

Must have been made from plasticine....

Anyone that has the money to do that to a bike is called Million Dollar Bogan! Just sayin! :D

Hey Andres

Someone may be buying a 701 soon to keep you company.

Can imagine you both chatting into the wee small hours about all things Husky 701. :D
