That’s looking very nice Mike, I love the front brake on the ‘5’ so much prettier than the later discs.

Quite like this, it doesn’t look like there were many colour options. I think I would like to keep it in a standard colour.

Just had a look on bmbikes and found the image. So I think it may be standard.

My Dad had a r100rt in white, not police but a specific order with the pop out auxiliary lights 15 years ago ,great fun when I had a shot with my fluorescent jacket it was amazing how traffic slowed down in front of you and got out the way pretty quickly.

Until you have to do a hill start, facing uphill! I agree about the aesthetics though. (And there were ways around the hill start issue!)

Colour wise, I'd go for Bol d'or red but I think that was only used for the later /6 bikes? :nenau

Having thought about it ,I recon this was the original colour,but it looks more bluey than silver TBH.
