Fork Compatibility

Hi Long time since Ive been on here........

My fork tubes are pitted and rusty after having the bike stand idle for 3 years while i recover from a serious illness which meant I could not ride.

I'm looking at getting my 2009 F650GS twin back through an MOT with a view to use or sell depending on the spend required.

I have seen a complete pair of forks for a 2006 650GS (single) online for sale at a great price.

Would this be compatible with my later model? They look pretty similar to my untrained eyes.

Can I just purchase fork tubes instead of the whole shebang?

Have you checked part numbers to see if they're the same?
