I received my denali sound bomb compact harness from Nippy Norman, in the description, it says plug and play but when I opened the package, there’s no relay. How can they call this plug n play? I only ordered this because you lot are always on about how good Nippy N are, very disappointed ☹️

To be fair to Nippys,

If you read the add, it does state you plug in the horns relay .... how are they to know you dont have a relay ??

the compact comes with a relay, the split dosent ??


the good news is its only about £5 for one from halfords - although if you have a hexezcan you dont need a relay

Ah well, caveat emptor and all that.
I think the NN product descriptions are pretty good, its just that one needs to be sure that what is described is what you think it is. In all my years I have only ordered one thing from NN which was not what I thought it was - return and refund without any questions.

Always good to have someone else to blame for our own mistakes. :aidan
 
I use Nippy Norm's a lot, never let me down in any way.
 
It's not an issue anymore as I ordered a pack of 4 from Amazon for 7.99, I will use them again.

It's the plug and play bit that confused me as when I bought the SB Compact of here, it didn't come with a relay. I'm holding my hand right up.

You bought it SH Sold as seen. did you not read the instructions, it clearly shows a relay

And £7 for four ..... best of luck with those lol
 
Nippy is just a shop. Blaming Nippy for your inability to read or understand what your requirements are is a bit like being a knob. To elevate that rating to full on knob you moan about it on a forum.

Denali advertise the sound bomb mini as a plug and play.

No, I didn't get any instructions with it and as far as the £7 for 4, the relay either works or it doesn't, I have 4 to play with. Furthermore, you can pay £10 0r £20 for a relay and IHO, 90% of all electronics are Chinese made.

Sir you are a real DICK, I've had some really good advice from caring members and then you came along with your abusive remarks. If you only read my last reply, you'll see that 'I hold my hand up', if you can't be helpful then just shut up.

Next thing you probably want the pin out for the relay.

85 - ground
86 - switch positive
87 - power to accessory
30 - fused connection to battery
