How do I post a pic. Clicked on Insert image and ??
Tried copy and paste and no good. I am 68 and grandkids are not around to help !

I use the Tapatalk app to access this forum and photos are a doddle to insert

There's a post on how to do it.

But, I go to 'Go Advanced' down to the right

Then 'Attachments' icon top line above, 3rd from right.

Choose file, then search your computer for it.

Upload.

Preview post to see that everything is okay, then submit reply.

Inserting image does not do it.

That is to upload a pic straight from the laptop etc.
Sometimes much less faff. You can use snipping tool (already loaded to the MS Office suite) to cut out bits of the pic you don't want to show or to resize the photo in eg a word document when compiling reports etc. Save it somewhere and upload using the attachment function.

To upload a pic from the net or a cloud service you are using to store pics.

Right click on the pic, select copy image address (it can be url address or if you share from a photo hosting site copy the BB_code which you can select from a drop down menu eg if you use flickr)
Click on insert image.
Right click and paste or crtl + v (short cut)
Click to post the reply.

There is a section just for this. Go crazy here: https://www.ukgser.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/87-Test-Forum

When I do a ride report I upload from flickr but, as I'm about to do another one, I can't remember what bits to delete from the URL title as it's been a few years since I last did it. Do you recall what's done?

It goes something like this [bla bla] bla bla bla.......[img], on Flickr

Cut it to show this [bla bla][img] bla bla bla.......[img]

The difference is

Ta Josef.

It's dead simple. You either need to 'start a new thread' or 'reply to thread', it doesn't work with quick reply. Then scroll down to 'manage attachments" search for your file to upload, then you'll see it in the list. I always preview before submitting it.

Is it only for subscribed members or all of us can post the picture (without it being a link to the picture stored somewhere else online)?
