speedo sensor ft or rear r1100s

anyone tell me please
r1100s ,2003 year its a boxer cup randy mamola,does the speedo pick from the front or rear abs ring

Rear… This is an R1100S FD fitted to my GS, but the pick up isn’t on the ABS ring

ok thanks ,but on my r1100s there is an abs sensor on the front and one on the rear thats it ,so one of them doubles up as a speedo sensor ,yours has two in the rear, mine only has one ,and its the one that goes right through the final drive and out the other side to read off the abs ring .

Take a look on Realoem.com for your model/year and it should give you the correct info specific for it.

Front speedo drive is from a gear on the spindle on my GS. The one from the rear R1100S FD I now have fitted is redundant and just coiled up under the seat.

yes got ya,it take its speedo rating from the rear,i disconected the front rode the bike and speedo still works ,
