Battery Change

Right, stupid question time, I have a new battery to fit, I have done this in the past but the last battery has lasted 10+ years so being old I have forgotten what I did before. I'm assuming that it is the simple procedure of undoing leads, replace battery re-attach leads but I also have a nagging thing in my head that there was a procedure to 'prime' the motronic but can't remember what it was I have done a search but nothing relevant came up anyway any thoughts? Once connected back up turn on the ignition. Do not start the bike. With the ignition on, fully open and close the throttle a couple of times. Turn off the ignition.

The TPS's are now calibrated and you can turn the ignition back on and start the bike.
