Anybody seen the taller BMW panniers yet ?

I am sorry that I have no photos, but on a display stand yesterday at my Bristol dealer. The clever thing is that it is actually an extra removable section , guess 5" in height (my brain still not metric) , which possibly could be added to any BMW pannier. I suggest very useful. I like the facility: could be so useful when I next go to Sainsbury's.
 
I've found a link, £295 for a pair of extenders and are available in 'usual ally colour'.

A new gsa in a dealer had them fitted and it made it extremely difficult for my wife to get onto the pillion seat
 
Some would remove the panniers first , then ‘lock’ their pillions in position

Don’t forget the extra rearward weight these will cause.

That’s your aviation heritage thinking. A colossal, heavily loaded tank bag should sort the cog
