I’m getting back on bikes after being off since my Yoof (>25 yrs). At the time I was a fool and didn’t bother going for the test. The father spent too many nights scraping lads off back roads in Monaghan and was keen that I get into four wheels and off two. In fairness, I had a teenagers attitude to the throttle.
Anyway, I’ve passed my theory test and all being well (and [insert celestial being of choice] willing, the NDLS will be able to take card payments again next week, unlike this week) I should have my A learner permit in my hand in six to nine weeks (who knows at this point).
Does anyone have recommendations for IBT trainers in the NE?
I believe I have to have plastic in hand before I can do the course so there’s no immediate panic… but I’d love to get rolling before the winter.
As it is, I’ll have to skulk down to the pier in Clogher in the people carrier for chips at the end of the month… [SHame… SHAME]
