Am contemplating leaving Apple and heading over to the Android side.

Have had a play with and supported various Samsung Android phones in past and must admit to not being blown away.

Looking around at other phone providers using Android/Play Store I am attracted from reviews to a Google Pixel 4a - reviews seem to indicate less fiddling by Google than Samsung with the UI. Also far longer support than others for what version of the Android OS will be supported on the hardware.

I use bluetooth a lot - Cars(VW), Tiger 900, Duke390, airmax wireless airpod headphones. From what I read the BT on pretty much all Android seems quite a bit better than Apple?

Not looking to spend laptop money on a phone - budget about £300.

Thoughts on handsets people have tried/hated/loved etc most welcome. Thanks

Redmi note 8t

Fantastic phone, read the reviews

Honor may have turned things around by branching from Huwawai and there a good phone to look at

There fingerprint sensors are the fastest around, build quality and specs are good too

one plus used to be good, but popularity may have diluted the brand so to speak

Xomi? are getting good reviews at the moment

I have one.. Its a good phone. On the cheap side. It has newer models out now.
Motorola have a few good phones too.
If you can get to John Lewis you can have a play with some different makes and see what you like.
