New to the twin cam oil heads

Maybe I'm thinking more of looking at the road or track in front of the bike. Mostly off roading I guess. Looking further in the distance isn't a problem as I can see that over the top of the screen even with its puig extender on it.

Funny you should say that….

Whilst it is very protective and there is no buffeting, it is too tall (previous owner was taller than me), I have the standard screen and will be fitting it back on to the bike this weekend :D

I am trying to find a reasonably priced tinted standard style screen and winglets if anyone knows a good source.

that ugly screen is the best bit of the bike.... it looks like a v stream tall one... same as mine 1000 times better than anything BMW ever fitted to any GS even the passenger notices within 200 yards it fixed half the bike issues

not sure about the other one above, I'm 6'3" and look directly over it never through it - u can sit bolt upright at 125mph for 200 miles across Germany without any effort at all - fill it up and do the same again 4 times over if it takes your fancy

I’m 5’11”. I’m running the stock GS screen with some aftermarket GSA winglets (Cee Bailey, I think - can’t find them on their site now). Also put a Wunderlich wind deflector thingy on the top edge of the screen - makes a big difference. If I didn’t have that one already, I’d get an MRA windscreen spoiler. Pushes the air over the top of my helmet, reducing buffeting. On slow, technical trail sections I sometimes find myself just leaning over and looking around the whole screen when needed.

Bike in its natural habitat, back with its original screen.

Very little buffeting, but a nice breeze through the helmet….perfect!

Fit an MRA xcreen to you OEM one and you will lose the buffeting…..perfect for high speed runs etc.

I have an aftermarket tinted screen and winglets fitted to my Triple Black.
