One of the things that impresses me most about this Cali is the pace it gets along at - It’s only 800 miles in from its rebuild so it’s still light throttles but it now spins easily to 5000rpm and the joy of running in is keeping your speed through the bends which it encourages with such sweet handling.
The whole experience of the upright riding position and foot of the boards as you change down for a bend and maybe do the same with the back brake before tipping it in and sweeping through all while still sat upright and only needing the slightest input is just wonderful
I bought this bike after concluding I wanted a bike to enjoy the summer and coast roads and had been close to getting a Fat Boy - Very pleased I went the Cali route as it has perfectly ticked the box

Nicely summed up
And there in lies one of the attractions of bikes, just what different experiences they can give you. I can ride the back lanes up in Derbyshire on my 701 with the SM wheels and it makes me ride like an absolute twat...........ride the same lanes on the Cali and it's exactly as you describe, interspersed with lots of stops to soak in the views.
