Last June i upgraded from the 20S to the 50S, lured by the mesh system.
Clearly due to covid restrictions it has not seen a great deal of use !
In Scotland last week 3 of us had Sena mesh systems and all was well on day one
On day 2 the battery failed after a couple of hours having been fully charged overnight.
Day 3 and it failed after less than an hour again despite showing fully charged
Trawling around on the web had me discover that this seemed to be a common problem and it looks like there were somne dodgy batteries in the early ones.
Any way contacted Sportsbike shop ( where it was purchased) last friday and was told it has a 2 year warranty send it back to them and they will have Sena look into it
They even sent me a postage label for DPD collection
Lo and behold they have contacted me today to arrange delivery of a new one tomorrow
So a big shout out to Sportsbike shop for their customer service and Sena clearly accept there is a problem with batteries i think for such a speedy result
