Fascinating.
I have seen bikes both with and without air cleaners to protect the engine, but never before seen a bike set up to actually throw dirt and stones into the engine.

now that's a way to retain the client, build soemthing with a fault so they have to come back again and again.... kerching...

Fair play to them for designing it and making it BUT they needed to take the thought process a bit further!

Obviously a screen on the intake, Aside from that I wonder how it rides ??

Re-jetted or not or just slapped on there, in theory a 40 DCOE should work as its a pair of them for 2 litre

Old VW trikes suffer badly from the fuel air vapour freezing in the intake I wonder does this machine suffer too

Looks like it’s just offered up, not fitted properly yet. There’s a back plate for an air filter that would just fit in the gap but would get very wet unless it’s shielded.

I guess if you asked why? They’d say ‘cos we can’

Jesus Christ....... did it have straight through pipes as well.

DCOE carbs are mounted on Big rubber O rings

I noticed that gap too and then forgot to mention it :aidan

Ah right. Well that’s shit then, couldn’t live with mine looking like that, and no filter is just stooopid

Here’s a wider view.

I think it’s just for show.

Looks like it’s not finished yet, no tank badges, back lights etc. there’s plenty of room for an air filter……

That Plenum chamber looks like its been developed for maximum flow for Torque and good economy at cruising speeds. That should get the F1 teams scratching their head, maybe a design the most people have overlooked.
