Hi
I have just replaced the support bobbin at the end of the exhaust on my 1989 R100GS. When I took the left hand side cover off I found that it had been touching the silencer and part of it had melted.
It looks like there should be a couple of cylindrical rubber buffers in the raised plastic cylinders toward the bottom of the exhaust.
Any ideas for a neat fix welcome.
