I bought my Nav 6 of this forum some time ago and I've just noticed that when I go onto the Smartphone Link in apps I get a 'ghost image' of a phone with the original owners name next to it.

It's no big deal but does anyone know how I can delete it?

Thanks in advance

Mike

Check paired devices in Bluetooth and remove, failing that worth a factory reset.

Hold bottom right of screen with the unit off, power on and hold until it shows ‘Loading’

I had an issue with mine not connecting to smart link app, though it wasn’t greyed out. Factory reset did the trick.

I don’t use all the ‘Connect my phone, to my GPS’ stuff. But, I imagine that the device remembers the last thing it was connected to, rather like your phone remembers assorted Bluetooth connections. It is greyed out as the other bod’s phone isn’t there, obviously. A hard reset, as suggested, or linking your own phone might well clear it.

Does this help?
