For the first time i couldnt wangle the first service for free so had to cough up

It was reassuringly expensive at £229 which i suppose isnt at all bad

Anyway all restrictions and rev limits have now been removed it feels so much smoother and if possible so much quicker at 9K it starts to draw breath and at 13K im frightened !

So connected to the road

I am deeply in love

If it’s good enough for my Guzzi it’s absolutely good enough for your Ducati :)

And yes, I know it’s included in the bill :thumb, how much? I recon £75?

Dunno but 15W 50 wont be cheap im guessing then a filter. Quite a comrehensive list of stuff on the sheet for them to do on first service so Im actually quite pleased with the Bill i bet its more on a 1250GS !

The longest bit of the job is the software updates and that is where dealers have you by the short and curlies

Motul 300v my guess and it aint cheap

I dread to think of the power of a 200+ bhp SF hitting the limiter. holding on would be a challenge, gorgeous looking bike tho

i think it will be unlikely i will even bother trying as at 9 or 10 K it is a humbling experience at 12 it is a holy mother of god moment as you shut the throttle off but i am keen to try out the launch control once when i pluck up the courage

I remember the demo I had for the day last summer.
I thought I was caning the arse off it and looked down to see only about 8000 rpm !!
I love the howl it makes.
Stunning bikes.

That is the truly scary thing about this bike and it is so hard to describe

It is so easy and unflustered in everything it does that any corner is laughed at and the speed is so effortless that you are always doing 30MPH more than you felt you were

The hardest part of riding it is riding it slowly

Having seen me ride I’m sure you believe me when I say I’d find it very easy :D

Andres

So not true on all points !

Lets stop being self effacing I kept up with Giles because of him only riding at 50% capability compared to my 85%+ and the extra 70 BHP i had

You were a minute or less behind us over some miles on a new bike on Knobbly tyres in the wet

I would trust you to have a go on this thing and bet you you cant go slowly on it
