My Streetfighter is stealth black

A satin/matte finish. This TBH is a pain as a scratch that could normally be polished out cant be, getting something like WD40 on it in the cleaning process fucks it up. I have seen many a car with this type of paint looking shabby at a year old or less.

Looking around for a solution I called the lads at Invisible patterns. They are the people who will sell you a Venture shield kit as they cut to exact size etc for the bike. They also do various grades of Matte finish film !

The kit only covers certain areas but wait, they will do a total coverage if I get the bike to them at what I consider to be a reasonable price of £250 !

Now having put one of their kits on a bike myself and despite my best efforts made a bit of a bollocks of it or it wasn't as good as I would have liked I took them up on their offer and rode to Wigan in the rain

So far it has taken a whole day for them to do it and the rest of this morning but he sent me a photo last night and you cant actually see any difference which just emphasises what a good decision I was to let them do it.

I've had 5 bikes done with this by Russell at their place.....always a top job

£250 for a days labour including materials seems like bargain of the year. A lad I know runs a ppf / ceramic coating business and it takes skill to do the job well.

For two thirds of the price of a BM top box you will have something that is practical 365 days of the year, well done.

My thoughts exactly

I fitted their tank kit to my previous GSA and have recently fitted it to my current new GSA, both matt sides and gloss centre pieces. Really easy to fit, if you use plenty of warm bottled water, with a little baby shampoo mixed in.

I find the matt really resistant to marking, but the gloss does mark easily and doesn’t self heal.

They have done a super job and some of the bits they have done are very complicated ( see that bit around the headlight and those radiator shrouds ) so for me it was worth letting them do it

On the strength of all the positive sentiments I’ve decided they can work there magic on a proper motorcycle. My Goldwing. I’m taking it in next Friday for a full kit application.
