K1200RS throttle and idle speed.

The throttle on my bike is slackish, the idle speed is slowly creeping up to 1400/1500 rpm. If I rotate the throttle grip forwards the revs drop to around 1100rpm though, but as soon as I use the throttle to increase the revs (to move off) it creeps back up to 1500rpm.

Also I noticed the Cruise Control does not work, but I'm not bothered about that unless its connected to throttle control ?

Is there any way I can adjust the throttle cables ?

I have the bike in bits at the moment as I'm replacing the front shock.

It was a vacuum tube that had come off, soon as it was replaced, hey presto idle speed back to about 1000rpm.
