I know the 1300 will be coming but probably in 2023, so just wondering if BMW will refresh the 1250 this year before the big update? I change this month 3 years ago and the following month the 1250 came out !!

Bought a new 1200gsa tc in late 2011 and the lc appeared 2 years later, bought a new gsa in late 2017 and the 1250 emerged 12 months later, I have just bought a 1250 with delivery in October so if the pattrrn continues you should expect the 1300 to be released in March or April next year

I heard 1300 next year.

I've been there with an utter turd of a 2014 r1200 gsa and never again

I had one of the first Wc , great bike , full of issues , new wheel , gear box , clutch , final drive etc , but god I loved it and enjoyed every minute . Roll on to 2015 , blew that one up , still loved them. 2016 bike ( no issues ) but still love all before , roll again 2018 R1250 , no issues .........lets hope my V4 beta has less issues but again I will suck it up and enjoy.

On the flip side I feel Bm will get the 1300 perfect as the opposition is mounting and they are by far one of the best dealers and manufactures.

I would think twice as I had one of the first 1250's - an ex-demo bike with 500 miles on it. Issue after issue. Am on my second one now and have done 4000 miles since April without it missing a beat - brilliant bike.

A 1300 engine though. Tempting! :) Especially if it is more road focused.....

No issues with my 2019 GSA.
Would i have 1300 yes why not.

Maybe something like this?

Yes there is a big refresh coming and a £5k price drop. Should be on the 5th of December.
Go and tell your dealer that you read it on the internet.

Where exactly would they fit the 10" dash and radar? They are not going to re-modify a whole front for one season. As per US releases, what you have have now is yer lot until the new model in 12 months time.

2014 GSA
10K miles no problems.

2017 GSA (basic)
7K miles no problems apart from corroding subframe.

2021 GSA
Bought middle of June 6K miles no problems.

My hunch

September 2023 is the 100th anniversary of the boxer engine, therefore last of the 1250 generation will be a “100th anniversary” model :nenau

The above will help move out the old (1250) and in with the new (1300)

Just my opinion :rob
