Gear from the UK

Hello chaps,

Has anybody bought in stuff from the UK recently. I'm buying some new bike gear and I have found a great deal.
It will cost 718 gbp without the vat on it. Is there anyway of accurately calculating duty on it?
Was there delays in getting stuff in?

As yet , i havent had an issue getting goods posted to The Northern Counties.

Customs are all over goods coming in from the UK at the moment. I think the VAT charged would be 23% of the cost of the goods, and then you'd also be charged customs duty on the goods as they are coming in from outside the EU. I'd highly recommend having them posted to NI and then driving up and collecting them.
