Contacted my local dealer (Kearys)
On Monday they ordered replacement and fitted yesterday
Not as black as the originals
And no writing on them just blank

I have these footpegs on my 1200 GSA and having checked them today they are fine.... However, i'll pop to my local dealers this weekend and have a chat with them about the recall...
Mine are of the type being replaced but are currently showing no signs of cracking after 30000 miles. Hey ho, new pegs!

I rang the dealer last Saturday as i found that mine were also cracked, they have insisted that the bike has to go down as well as they have to remove them and fit them.
What a pain, I explained that I fitted them some 3 months after i bought the bike but that’s the only way they insist. Has anyone just swapped them out over the counter ?

But I take it that the are still adjustable for height ?
They wanted mine back to return to BMW, I then fitted them myself once they arrived. I removed them and dropped them off which I was close to the dealers. When the replacements came in they gave me a call and I went and collected them. They were also happy to post them to me. Yes they are adjustable for height, but they only have two settings as to the original ones which had three positions.
do new one go as low as old one, I have mine on low setting, does it look as low new one with only 2 hole thanks
I didn't measure the old one before I swapped them unfortunately. I will say though that they do not feel as low as the previous pegs.
