Portsoy weekend 26 to 29 August 2022

Both the same in my book Santa :hrh

Yup .... I've been up at Strontian over a couple of new years :D:thumb2

Found out that the hotel was closed New Years day and the Corran Ferry doesn't sail 1st or 2nd January :thumb2

Hi Micky ,,The Bothy is not in use for the campers at the moment ,as Tim has converted it to temporary accommodation for His Lovely daughter Ellie and her hubby who have moved up from south to help with the running of the campsite to give Tim/ Lynne an bit more time to themselves ( he is off next week with a group to ride to Montenegro )
Dunno if it will be back in camper use by then or not ,, worth an ask if it’s a facility you use .

Sorry I missed this. I've been on the island behaving badly with another bunch of pensioners. Maybe next time when it will doubtless blow a hooly and pish down.

There was, at one time a little caravan parked where that bench is and i have marshalled there a time or two.

I know about the Bothy for Elle and her bloke. Hope to call later this month and see. Elle knows me as "The old man, in the old van, with an old Span" :D

Me and Khulu went out walking and we came across this sign (hand carved in a bit of 3/4 ply) which read
RIP DAD
… it was Really steep and slippery just there so I suspect the old boy took a tumble which led to his demise ….

You got off lightly.
The year before, I was greeted at breakfast by Iain in full exuberance mode, forcing me to fumble for my sunglasses at 8.30am. 😎
Quite traumatic if you're not a morning person.:D
