Technical enhancement recall ooh

Out of curiosity I checked if any recalls are outstanding on my 19 year old bike. Indeed there is! A technical enhancement one...Pity I can't find out what it is as the linky no worky...(404 page not found error). I also cannot book it in for a service (as directed by the website) as this also returns the dreaded 404 page not found! Curious now what could be my enhancement (and free bike wash!) Any ideas where to look? My curiosity is getting the better of me

Recalls normally run for 6 years , after that , it depends whether the person doing it can be bothered. IIRC

Got a reply to my email today. "I can confirm your vehicle is included in this recall: R 1150 R IGNITION/STEERING LOCK WIRING HARNESS CHAFING ON RETAINER "
couldn't get through to Battersea to book it in, tried 3 times. No change in service from them then.
Anyone remember having this done and what does it entail?
Little hook/guide install to avoid chafing
Replacement headstock part?
A day's work or ride in ride out ish?

Given that my wiring is now probably a bit chafed lets see what they say

Retainer I think means the plastic ties holding the harness wiring. These were put on too tight and caused chafing and eventually breaks in the wires
Cut them off and put new ones in their place but not too tight.

Basically a DIY job.
