Help. I have loosened the two clamp bolts on the right - left the left side alone as per the manual - but the floating axle is lodged fast. It wont even turn. What Am I doing wrong? I am supporting the wheel.

Thanks

The forks are clamped both sides surely ? ( I can’t be arsed to go and look sorry ) If so unclamp …

Ye slacken the two clamping bolts on the right leg then screw the axle out with one of those axle socket things and a ratchet.

The R9T manual is pretty clear, the procedure is to maintain the correct setting/positioning for the ABS sensor ....... https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1172615/Bmw-R-Ninet.html?page=83#manual.

I can recall my K1600 needing quite a heave with a breaker bar to get the spindle to turn; a mix of over-torque at the factory & corrosion I suspect.

However, IIRC, the Scrambler has a different spacer/spindle arrangement just to confuse things.
