I sold my Streetguard a few months ago as I’ve lost a lid of weight and it engulfed me so I’m looking for a similar replacement. Anyone got any recommendations of something of similar quality.
I used my Streetguard mainly for late autumn and winter riding so I’ll be doing the same with its replacement.. I’m not looking for a Rallye type jacket morw looking for something that’s a little more casual..

A good starting point would be a trip to Motolegends in Guildford (since you are reasonably near them) and let them fill your empty cup with ideas.

If you liked the Streetguard why not get the latest version in the right size?

If that is too much money then state your budget but post #2 would seem to be sound advice - they have a Halvarssons casual style jacket for £179 https://www.motolegends.com/jackets/halvarssons-lysvik-jacket-in-black.html - no thermal liner but just wear a fleece underneath.

or you can spend £1500 on a Klim

Thanks both,
Motolegends it is then... Very familiar with them, they've emptied my wallet a few times over the years...

Haven't experienced it yet, seems a bit expensive. I'm using a Neon textile jacket from Viking Bags. Had ordered it six months ago. They delivered on time, the fabric is quite good. I have mentioned the store link below, they have a good collection at reasonable prices with good stuff quality. have a look o them if you want to

Good article in this months ABR, I’ve just gone from a Streetguard to a Halverssons Mora jacket for the same reason and it’s very good but has a waterproof inner lining.

Tried the Halvarssons jacket (Zegrab) didn't like it... Ended up buying a Belstaff Brooklands Mojave 2.0. Yes more expensive than the Halvarssons offering but ultimately only cost me an additional £20 on what i'd already laid out for the Streetguard (which was refunded). Gotta say i love the Belstaff, very warm in the cooler temps, better fitting than the Streetguard and much better quality than the Halvarssons Zegrab..
