I like going out to Ardnamurchan, it's a slow road but that's fine, there's more to biking than speed. And I've had a good evening or two in the bar in the Kilchoan, seemed fine to me.

Also I think the Kinlochleven loop is well worth it, nice quiet road.

Just as well we all like different things.

An old friend of mine William Gault was lighthouse keeper at Ardnamurchan back in the 50s,I was up there this summer, lovely place had a bit of tea at the Kilchoan hotel,it was okay,certainly not crap.we had good weather too.

When I was last in NW Scotland, I found this book in a charity shop. A good read/recent historical reference I suppose.
