Just fit a hugger to my 2017 GSA

I need to know the torque values for the 2 bolts it attaches via…

The front mounting bolt of the rear brake caliper and the paralever arm/brace bolt

Can anyone help?

Mine first had main bolt half way out one day (even with loctite and torque recommended by Puig). 3 months later the bracket broke around the main bolt. I was lucky to catch it before it came off and cause major problem. I took it off and never looked back again. I have mudsling anyway but I loved the look of the hugger. I had similar huggers on all of my previous bikes. My GS is now my first bike without it but I will not buy another one unless somebody comes up with different design. The bracket on shaft link and caliper bolts was just wrong design from the beginning.

thanks all

All help and advice duly noted.

I’m fitting newly bought 12.9 grade bolts as advised by others on the forum, as opposed to the unknown bolts that were supplied.

You should know that BMW state new bolts should be used and they come encapsulated from the factory. I chose to reuse mine but just be aware
