Got this from Rosso Ducati earlier, seems like a worthwhile event :

Every October we host a charity run, and for many years we have had a preferred charity of Action Breast Cancer. But this year we have decided to change things up a bit, and after seeing the @IrishCommunityAirAmbulance in action we couldn't think of anyone more deserving.
Run by a staff of Volunteer Doctors and Rapid Response Vehicles, the Irish Community Air Ambulance successfully launched Ireland’s first dedicated and charity funded Air Ambulance on the 30th July 2019. Based out of North Cork, Irish Community Air Ambulance (callsign Helimed92) is an asset of the National Ambulance Service and responds to the most serious trauma and medical emergencies when tasked.

So whats the plan?

Registration from 10am here in Rosso Ducati on Saturday 23rd October.
Requested donation of €20 to the air ambulance, at registration, per bike.
Current route (advised on the day) is planned at aprox 95kms
Route be fully supervised by the trained Road Marshalls from the Dublins Gaelic Chapter Ireland.
Light refreshments provided before and after the event.

Would I be at the behest of a "Road Captain" and a "Rear Gunner" and the like??

I was thinking of doing the same.
I just seen on the email that the ride out was being run by some "chapter" or another.

It's a very worthy cause and well worth dropping a score in
