Just got my Eldorado seats back from Chris at Nostalgia upholstery. Both rider and passengers re shaped, re padded then re covered in non slip material on top panels and embroidered to my design. I think he did a great job at a very reasonable price.
Some pics.

Great looking seat....that has given me some food for thought for my V85TT.

I particularly like the way the tri colour stitching turned out. I sent him an image of the Moto Guzzi text and Italian colours for the backrest and seat 'flash' embroidery. Riders seat was re shaped slightly to allow me to sit a bit further back as I found I was sitting on the seam of the original, passenger seat wider and more padding for swmbo:D.
now if it stops raining I'll be able to take it for a spin to check the comfy level:).
overall very pleased with the look and result.:thumb2

any chance of posting the price paid for the great work?
All I'll say is it was more than £200 and less than £300. As said earlier I gave Chris the design I wanted and some pictures of where I wanted the Guzzi logo and side flashes, the stitching design on the top panels and the Tri colour stitching around the edge. Both seats were re shaped from the original, the riders seat slightly more 'dished' and the top seam further to the rear, the passenger seat completely re shaped and padded(swmbo well pleased ).Took the bike for a 115k ride out today to try it out, very comfy.
Very pleased with the result, the new design allows me to sit further back giving slightly more support, I also have a set of Guzzitech risers which help the riding position.
Overall more than happy with the quality of work and the price paid, very quick turn around time as well.

cheers,

I did consider getting a corbin mgx seat for the Eldorado as I'd read a lot of negative reviews about the quality control of the latest generation corbins. As 'nostalgia' is only about 20 mins away from me I was able to go and chat in person about what I wanted.

Had my 1150R seats done by sister in law at the weekend..
