So you have been lucky, bet there are lots who have been lucky. But there are also many who have not, including myself, my Nav VI started ghosting 3 months after the warranty ran out. Garmin kindly sold me another one for £150, with a 90 day warranty. That one went wrong also, so they replaced it again. That was enough for me and I sold it and bought an XT
