The gritting has started

And Lancashire/Cumbria... Big dump of grit round my village last night
 
heated grips on defcon 1 for the last two days ;)

Will make some phone calls over the next few days and fit the muffs


anyone got a winter campout organised ? ;)
 
Nice and crispy underfoot for my morning walk.

One benefit of retirement is not having to de-ice the car. :D

Cloud overnight is forecast so much warmer for tomorrow's breakfast meet. :fnikefork

Gritting on the Wirral on Wednesday night couldnt ave been colder than 8 degC bonkers
 
Never understood this putting your bike away for the winter.
You can’t beat a ride when its clear and cold.

Maybe on your island they don’t grit, but in Yorkshire they grit from November to April and the corrosion wrecks vehicles

Agreed - you can have some great winter rides and I will be doing just that on my 400

They grit the roads down here too JB, but we is well clever down Sarth mate, so we just wash our bikes in cold water when we get back and carry on riding! ;) :D

Been out today on the RKS into the Cotswolds and back via the Chilterns - it was bloomin marvellous :beerjug:
