Introducing myself and feeling like the new kid at school despite that actually happening 60 years ago.
Sold my last road bike, a beautiful Guzzi Californian in ‘96 for all the usual reasons.
Two years ago I was finally able to scratch the itch and bought a used Honda CB500X. 8 months later that was exchanged for a ‘67 plate Triumph Street Triple.
The Triumph is brilliant and is going nowhere but I find after 150 miles the aches set in and I now want to go further afield than is comfortable on the Triumph.
So to my yet to be purchased GS1250.
I’ve had a couple of test rides and settled on the low seat but the standard suspension being best for me, 5ft 10 with a 31inseam, Triple Black or Exclusive, used.
If you’ve got this far you’re a glutton for punishment, well done!!
