I remember walking into Gus Kuhns storage warehouse in 1980 and seeing 20+ R100T’s lined up all ready for sale, all with around 2.5K miles on the clock and all in the Red/Silver finish. They’d been used as escort bikes on the “Tour of Britain Milk Race 1980”. One of my favourite BMW’s, as mentioned HERE. if only this were a Red/Silver model.
