My 1100gs has had the main and dipped headlights upgraded to HID. Although they are very bright, the beam throw and pattern are rubbish. Riding on unlit country lanes is terrifying!

Could anyone recommend any auxiliary lights that I can add to the bike to light up the road?
I don't really want to go to the expense of Denali D4s. I know they won't be the same quality, but had anyone had a good experience with Chinese jobbies?

I picked up a light bar / bracket from here last week, so have somewhere to mount them+ relay, switch, etc.

Not oilhead specific, but much prefer this part of the forum

Cheers

Bin the HiD conversion - the burner(s) probably not in the correct position to focus correctly. Adding a lightbar and aux lights of your choice wired to work on main and dipped beam, with a lockout swich on each circuit is a setup that has worked for me.
