snowflake wheel recall

1977 R100rs motorsport with snowflake wheels. They haven't broke in 44 years so i suppose they are alright. slipped through the net somehow. the front one is definitely a bad one as the bottom of the cast spokes are not thick like the modified ones.

BMW will honour recall if it hasn't had it.
 
Try and demand a new bike pal :D
It would be fabulous if they helped you after this time
Is it a def casting fault or could it be some weird damage?
I also think re-calls have no end date

There are pictures of ones broken, and stories of deaths, on the internet. And stories of the recalled wheels surviving a long time. I have a recall wheel; it's not on a bike. I am planning to make a clock, or something, from it. One day they may become cult items!
