Remus 8 on 2016 GS TE

Hi Folks.

I really like the look and sound of the Remus 8 exhaust and I want to fit ont on my 2016 GS TE. Looking at the Remus website, it is available for the 2016+ model. Visually, the 2016 and 2017 models look the same to me (exhaust-wise, geometry, etc) so I want to know if the Remus 8 will fit on my bike?

That is indeed the one I am interested in, Fizzer. ....or the Akrapovic. They both have the sound I like but the Remus has a cool and different look. Reggie353, is that a 17" front wheel I see on the bike in your avatar?

Great looking bike man. Looks like you've got quite a few parts from the R-model (both front and rear wheels and belly-pan (the rear looks wider). There are loads of things I like about my GS, the engine, seating position, equipment and I want to make it more sporty, similar to yours. I had a R1250R Sport but I couldn't keep it so I got the GS. I will never, ever do anything off-road so I don't need that. How do the smaller, wider wheels affect the bike compared to stock?
 
I saw in your first post that you wanted to make your bike a bit quicker, Chazz. You might want to get in touch so that we can compare notes. ;)

Well spotted. Fav part is the belly pan.

I’ve done 16000 miles on 2 bikes with the 17 inch front. I like the way it handles. And they way it looks. I haven’t done many miles with the big front wheel so can’t compare. But it must steer quicker now.

Previous incarnations. Same wheels. Just painted different colours.
