I find the same when i use my wifes electric toothbrush to clean cylinder heads . Woeks well with toothpaste and WD40

Found a local motor factors that was open. €5 one metre length of braided fuel line of similar diameter and a kettle of boiling water.
Got lucky fitting the piece through the air box although I broke a clip trying to refit the air box cover. Any all well so far. Looking forward to getting out for a spin. Thanks for all the advice

As I stated in my original post, Wives in general can be so unreasonable about such things !!!
