Creating via points in MyRoute on an iPad and from there into my XT

I had a play around today.

What I haven’t discovered how to do is to create a route in MyRoute on my iPad, route it through a set point (say for example a cafe I want to stop at for lunch) and have the cafe appear as as via point (a point I must go through) on my XT. Everything else seems fine.

I found the answer and it works.

The more I look at MyRoute (especially the help pages) the more impressed I am with it on an iPad, its seamless transfer of routes via Airdrop into the Garmin Drive app on my iPhone. From there into my XT. It all seems to go swimmingly.
