Anyone know where I can get an alternator reconditioned around the East Midlands?

What vehicle is this for? Do you have the alternator make & reference number. Repair kits are available for most types, sub £15.

Rewinding is rarely economic these days, with recon units available, on exchange, off the shelf.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
I posted up on the Hexhead section as well and have done some additional research. It is not possible to recondition these - I have sourced a good second hand one from the states.
