On my iPhone ...

"Privacy warning. This network is blocking encrypted DNS traffic.
The names of websites and other servers your device accesses on this network may be monitored and recorded by other devices on this network".

This warning comes up on my iPhone under my Home Hub BTHub6-****

My desktop iMac is connected to my Router with an ethernet cable.

There is no one else sharing this network .... do I have a problem

Thanks in advance.

Yes you do. It’s telling you that big brother is watching you. They are tracking all your internet traffic, especially pornhub, milfsex and other such sites. You’ll get a knock on the door soon. Quick, hide.

Ha ha .... no problems there then :D

Went in to Network Preferences on my MackBook Pro, didn't alter anything but had a poke around.
The warning on my iPhone has now gone ... what's all that about then :rob

Bloody 'ell, there's all the WiFi I've connected to over the years, hotels, campsites etc and I've only had the bloody MacBook 12 months

Yes but Apple devices shre stuff with each other so all the Wifi etc that you have connected old mac book to went to phone and vice versa so it all gets saved

Personally i would change the password on the router to be sure your neighbours etc are not (a) free loading or (b) your info isnt being hacked on a night time whilst you slumber

Give it a catchy name like Balby police outpost

The warning part of an extra feature introduced with iOS 15
