I have spent sometime researching subject on the GSER forum however most of the previous commentary is about 2 years old albeit Nationwide Flexi account thread

I have a 1200GS Rallye and want to travel around Europe with pillion this year Covid permitting . Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thank you

you need to head to the Travel section with a few sticky threads https://www.ukgser.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/17-Travel

updates only a few months old

a lot depends on your situation especially if you are over 70 and/or have medical conditions

personally, I have 2 trips planned so took out an annual policy with https://www.puffininsurance.com/ as there are no bike riding restriction (other than wearing a helmet), reasonable extra costs due to health and underwritten by a known brand, Axa.

https://www.coverwise.co.uk/ also seem popular for similar reasons

The Nationwide policy is good value of you can make use of all of the cover and do not have to pay their high premiums for medical conditions, as discussed in the recent thread.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I'm 64 and have the usual high blood pressure issues for my age so taking 10mg amlodipine plus a supposedly risk reducing statin (cholesterol is good though).

I had considered the Post Office annual cover but very confused about their wording relating the motorcycles not sure that over 125cc was covered. I will give these site a try. Thank you
