Nav6 repair.

Anyone used a repair service for the Nav6. A friend of mine has one with a hairline crack on the screen which is barely visible but causes touchscreen selections to sometimes be a little hit and miss, but fine when on bike with wonderwheel.
He wants to sell it as bike now gone, but needs it working properly first!

RRP the screens are around £250, which makes professional repair marginal, given the cost of say a new XT. However, fish around the internet for a decent deal & devote a little time/care & in can be fixed for a fraction of that DIY.

Alternatively, if he doesn't fancy the job, sell the device as is, spares/repair.

The company that is in the link above quote £120 for a screen replacement which doesn’t sound too bad…
