I have a 05 deauville which has been blowing fuzes. The 30 amp main fuze. It’s been looked at by a shop and seemingly fixed but not. Anyone any ideas? Rectifier? Any pointers appreciated. Thanks JJH

When you replace the main fuse how quickly does it blow - as soon as you turn ignition on or only when the engine is running or riding for a while?
Doubt its the reg.rec, or the solenoid.
Turn ignition on and wiggle push/pull the wiring going into the ignition switch and the ignition switch multi plug connector to see if the dash lights come on...

Sorry J I no good with electrics. I know the theory but putting it into practice isn’t great. It’s like my dislexica I start to follow a logical step by step sequence and just loose it in my head and have to start again. So I wrongly diagnosed the selonid. Sometimes the bike would start sometimes there would be no lights on dash sometimes there would. By tapping and moving the wires around that area the dash would come alive. Then the bike would run like a pig wouldn’t Rev backfire and other times would run perfectly.Feck sake Come on JJ what is the story ??
P.S. NEVER depend on a voltmeter!
Always use an Incandescent lamp of some sort ! (#DiagnoseDan )
A digital meter draws very little current and can show values
An incandescent bulb needs a good supply and ground and will either not light or light dimly if one or other is bad
