Does anyone know if there is a way to get the Nav 6 to display Ordnance Survey 1:50,000 maps?

If there is, does it allow you to boot into either the OS maps (in this country) or the standard loaded maps in Europe?

Thanks in advance all

I don’t think so

You can’t run OS maps on a Zumo XT - just CN and Topo

Question 2: Home Screen > Settings > Map & Vehicle > scroll down > myMaps > Tick the map(s) you wish to display. Untick any that you do not want to display.

Do not try to run the Garmin maps of say the UK at the same time as running an Ordnance Survey map of the UK. It confuses the hell out of the device.

Question 1: Someone will know if it is possible to install / run Ordnance Survey maps on a Nav VI. I have never tried. That same person will know how to install them. My honest guess is that they probably install the same way as any other third party map. There are lots of self-help videos and written explanations as to how to do it using Map Install. Here’s a possible sample:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jpMA_pqgIv0" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Return here if you get stuck, please.

Many thanks. Will try.

Next ? Can OS maps be loaded into Basecamp. Their standard mapping is pretty basic And I'd be happier working with the view that I'm used to. My off road GPS system (SatMap Active 20) uses a planner that is web based and I can subscribe to a whole raft of maps, so OS is a cinch on that.

Thanks again

Phill

It should be possible, at least it is from some devices. Logically BaseCamp should just drag the routes across when you connect your device. Whether they are then routable properly (as opposed to straight lines) is another matter entirely.

Someone who uses Ordnance Survey and BaseCamp on a regular basis should know. Failing that, just try. It won’t blow up.
