Sproxton Camping weekend 1/2/3 April 2022

You don't need a GS to come on a ride, but you do need a bike. Unless you want to follow in your car.

Why not join us for breakfast any way?

OK I will. No bike yet but I think I'll have one by then. Got my eye on a couple.

Had a pleasant ride to the pub.

They're happy to do breakfast on the Saturday morning. We just need to let them know the numbers a week in advance.

Breakfast will be served from 8.30 ready for a 10.00 leaving time.

That is good news.

ROAD RIDE

The road ride will leave the Crown Inn, Sproxton LE14 4QB at 10.00.
The ride will be just over 140 miles so please make sure you have a full tank of fuel before we leave.
Lunch will be halfway round at approx. 12.00 at The Yard Cafe, Main street, Cotesbach, LE17 4HX.
The roads will be all tarmac, mainly B & single track roads where possible.
Derek will be tail end Charlie and as usual we will wait at junctions so no one should get left behind.
We should be back at the Crown for 1530.
Please PM me your email address if you would like a .gpx file of the intended route.

I will be letting the pub know final numbers of breakfasts on Monday.

Please make yourself known if you are not mentioned as having a breakfast on the first post.

You can update me from 'might have a bike' to 'has got a bike' :)

I've given the pub numbers for breakfasts.

They're happy to have a few more if you're not on the list. :fnikefork

A quick screen shot of the route, total distance 107 miles. This is version 2, so if you have already received an email copy of the route, it's now out of date.

Thanks to those who helped organise and take part in this weekend.

Just got home from a nice evening with Santa, the one who got left behind.

Thanks to Chris for leading the road ride and Derek for being tail end Charlie, chasing me down the road to bring me back on course. Sorry you missed the rideout Santa.

Ditto, thanks to the organisers and and nice to meet everyone.

Kev
