I have gathered several of them all together.

Just tap on the shortcut to go to the original post and any subsequent thread. You are sure to find one that’ll work for you.

Richard

PS Inevitably, over time some external / third party websites close, move, become corrupted or are not maintained. The ADAC one in number 5 is a good example. My advice would be to tap around in the site to see what pops up. Or, try a brief Google search for something like ‘ADAC Motorrad Luxembourg’. If yiu find something you like (this applies to anything) my suggestion is always to copy and save as much of it as possible then and there. It might be gone the next time you want to find or use it. I have a folder in Dropbox, which I dump things into; I then tidy it out later, filing things away properly.

All started by you, of course. Of the first two pages on this section, 15 posts have been started by you. You move whatever doesn't conform to your idea of what this section should be about, even though many do conform, to obscure sections which no-one will read, because you don't deem them of interest.

Should we rename this section Wapping's Kingdom of Spain?, because that is what it looks like. I've almost given up reading it and offering advice except personally via PM, which is a shame because I know a fair amount about Spain; I just get a little fed up with your autocracy on this section, to be honest. Your criteria is just too narrow and only really suits you.

Oh please. The hope was to bring what were previously random posts and threads into some sort of order. I started this process by identifying those posts and threads I recognised as giving all but complete route ideas, preferably with reasonably clear maps and / or GPX files. Obviously that is easiest for posts that I created originally. I am doing the same for the other country and regional sub-sections; sub-sections that I had created to bring some order to the chaos that reigned previously. Other posts and threads I left for now as I’d need to read the posts to see what the threads actually said, the titles sometimes not giving too much of a clue.

If you would like to identify some that you’d like to include, be my guest and add them in. In fact, do it please, as it will save me the job. You can then do the same in the other sub-sections, too. If you like, I’ll create a one off sub-section within Spain, just for you. In it you’d be able to post all your routes and address all and any questions.

Thank you.

Richard

PS The person to call and moan to is the site owner.

Ignore him Richard. I/others may not agree with you all the time, but no more than I/we disagree with views expressed by many others on this forum.

But what we do appreciate is the effort you put in to helping others with satnav and route planning issues. The forum would imho be a poorer place without your contributions. Keep up the good work

Oh do give over
Wapping does a great job modding this section
On target and on topic

I like it. Does a good job in keeping the section going during the quiet times. Will give me some good reading for the week ahead. Thanks

www.route260.com

Came across this site whilst staying in Hotel les Brases in Sort. Used part of a route out of Spain towards Carcassone......and a very good route it was too!

The website has a great selection of routes in Spain all with downloadable gpx files.
